Tips while wearing your temporary: avoid sticky or very hard foods on that side; if it comes off, try to place it back and call us so we can secure it. The temporary prevents sensitivity and keeps the gumline healthy for your final crown.
Second appointment: try-in + cementation
- We remove the temporary and try in the porcelain crown, checking fit, bite, and shade.
- A radiograph (X-ray) may be taken to verify the margins.
- The crown is bonded with dental cement and polished; we’ll review home-care instructions so it lasts.
Timing: The first visit typically takes 60–90 minutes; the second is about 30–60 minutes. Exact timing depends on your case and lab turnaround.
